Washing

Hand washing is always the preferred method.

Wash gently in cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C / 86°F) using a pH-neutral detergent specially formulated for silk or other delicate fabrics. Avoid rubbing, twisting, or wringing the fabric, as this may weaken the natural silk fibers.

If machine washing is necessary, select the Silk or Delicate cycle, place your silk inside a protective mesh laundry bag, and use only a gentle silk-safe detergent.

Drying

After washing, gently press away excess moisture with a clean towel.

Lay flat or hang to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid tumble drying and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as excessive heat may affect the silk's natural sheen and softness.

Ironing

If desired, iron on the reverse side while the fabric is slightly damp using the lowest heat setting suitable for silk.

A pressing cloth is recommended to help preserve the silk's smooth finish and elegant appearance.

Storage

Store your silk in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight.

For long-term storage, choose a breathable cotton storage bag instead of plastic to allow the natural fibers to breathe while protecting them from dust and humidity.

Avoid
